I'm an artist based in London - commission a House Portrait by a professional artist to have as a special memory of your home. Paintings are done mostly from life in order to capture the pure atmosphere and essence of the home and partly done using photographs as reference.
How it Works
Contact me about which size of painting you would like and where about you are based, from there we can then organise a time you find convenient for me to come over to paint a picture of your home.
Except for small A5 paintings I would typically need a period of 6-8hrs outside the property to capture and sketch the house, as I am outside if you are comfortable with it there is no need for you to be at the property at this time. If weather issues arise namely rain I may return to the property on a different day to finish the sketch, typically within the same week.
From this painting session I will then go home and finish the picture using references from photographs and sketches I have made.
When I have completed the picture I will send you a quality high definition scan of the image for you to approve.
At this point if there is anything you want changed or adjusted with the picture do not hesitate to let me know and I can try and adjust it as best as possible.
Once you are happy and approve of the picture I will send over the physical painting with an invoice in a secure packaging through a secure tracked and signed service.
From the day of the painting session at your home to the delivery of the final artwork you can expect the turnaround within 10 business days.
For paintings sized A4 and above I will expect a £50 deposit after we have agreed on a painting session for me to come and sketch the house.
Any paintings that require travel outside London reasonable travel costs will be added on to the total price.
